You know, I watched every minute of your saddle making video. I was mesmerized. I call myself a mixed medium artist. Im versatile with my love for tactile or texture. I think I think you may have created a monster in me. I have to do this! Ironically I have all the same tools or almost as you and then some. I've made leather jewelry, leather chaps and even leather bikinis. I collect silver Conchos, silver trinkets and natural mutifaceted gem stones. GOSH, if our tools and stash got together the make beautiful babies!
I had horses when I was younger. I got rid of all my tack and horse when I had kids. Since they're older I've been tinkering around with the thought of getting another horse. I was being curious what it would entail to go all out and make my own. That's why I looked up saddle making. Oh, I'm so glad I did! I love your style so much! Thank you so much for sharing your gift!
Just watched your video again. I have made one saddle, and would like to do, another one, like what you did. I am a Custom Leather worker, doing some tack, and items for the Cowboy world. Also, build other items. Mostly One Off. But, really enjoyed watching this. Thanks!!!
I have watched your video several times. Absorbing as much as I can. I am a beginner at doing leather work and I am self taught so far. Your video was straight forward and to the point. Thank you for putting it out there.
